Here it is again, time for me to review my electric usage.
As some of you might remember, this time last month is when I had my little rant. I will refrain from that this time and just give you the info. I guess it wouldn’t hurt to tell you (and remind myself) that I run a business out of my home, and that accounts for a huge chunk of my electrical usage.
Based upon the Riot for Austerity numbers, I have taken the Average Annual American Household (AAAH) figures and divided by 12 for the numbers to beat. In the case of electricity, the AAAH uses 917 kwh per month.
My April electric reading of 342 kwh was…
…down 62.70% (575 kwh) from the national average.
…exactly the same as my own usage 12 months ago (don’t know how that happens)
…the lowest it’s been since last November (looking for that bright spot.)
My ten-month electrical usage (for July-April) was 3,568 kwh. This is…
…down 61.09%, or 5,602 kwh from the national average
…down 38.59%, or 1,377 kwh from my own usage during the same months 12 months prior.
