I just returned from the dentist. I had my teeth cleaned (one of my least favorite events). One thing that caught me by surprise was the number of “disposable” items the dentist office now sports – maybe it just didn’t register with me before (years and years ago). Everything – the bibs, gloves, face mask and paper “scrubs,” and even disposable eye shields for both the dentist and for me – was disposable! When did that happen? I realize that for sanitary and health reasons some of these items are necessary, but some of this just seems like overkill.
Just an observation for the day.
