My coffee maker decided to die on me this weekend, and this year is beginning to remind me of roughly nine years ago when I ended up replacing not only my roof and furnace, but also the hot water heater, the dryer (the new one died last week), and a dishwasher in less than a year.
Does anyone have an easier and/or less expensive way to make coffee without the coffee maker? I have been boiling water and pouring it over the grounds in the actual coffee maker, but would love to get rid of the coffee maker completely. I don’t want to just go out and buy another coffee maker because that is the only thing I know to do if there is another alternative that would not require so much plastic to make and may be less expensive or be a better alternative for me. Thoughts? Ideas?
